La Freccia February issue embraces love with Bianca Guaccero

On the cover, the hostess is getting ready for the PrimaFestival

Bianca Guaccero, the cover face of February's La Freccia issue, is in love with life. After winning the last edition of the Italian Dancing with the Stars, she is getting ready to host the PrimaFestival, from 8 to 15 February. The actress and hostess gained back her self-confidence after a difficult time, and shared with La Freccia that she is working on a play that will be staged in the 2025/2026 season, while waiting to make her début on TV with a one-woman show.

Love also inspires the travels of writer Björn Larsson, who spends one month in Sweden and one in Italy, where his partner lives. In his latest book Vittnesmål från de inställda pendelresornas tid (A Commuter’s Minimal Philosophy) - an excerpt of which can be found in the magazine’s appendix - the author of Long John Silver delves into the habits and pet-peeves of work, study, or long-distance relationship commuters. Drawing the boundaries of a global anthropological phenomenon.

Besides being the month of love, February also means skiing holidays. Don’t miss the itinerary between Sestriere, Bormio, Bardonecchia, Courmayeur and Madonna di Campiglio, following the footsteps of the 105XMasters Winter Tour - a sports and fun event, for which Trenitalia is the Official Green Carrier.

There is no shortage of interviews with show-business stars, such as actress Matilde Gioli, now in cinemas with the comedy Fatti vedere, rapper Olly and the Vale LP and Lil Jolie duo, competing at the Sanremo Music Festival, and comedian Giorgia Fumo, on tour with the theatre show Vita bassa.

Last take a last glance at culture and science events. The Reggia di Caserta hosts the monographic exhibition Metawork, tracing Michelangelo Pistoletto’s career. Irony in modern and contemporary Italian art is on stage at the MamBo, in Bologna, amid absurd performances and paradoxical posters. While Rome’s Palazzo delle Esposizioni hosts the exhibit Elogio della diversità, a journey through Italian ecosystems, to reflect on climate change.
