Since September 2024, he has been Chief Technology, Innovation & Digital Officer for Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane.

From 2020 to 2024, he worked at Terna S.p.A. as Chief Innovation & Information Officer. From 2022 to 2024, he was CEO of Terna Forward, Terna's technology innovation company.

After joining Acea S.p.A in 2017 as Head of CEO Office, Massimiliano Garri continued his career in the company until 2020, subsequently covering the role of Chief lnnovation & lnformation Officer and CEO in Acea lnnovation S.r.l.

From 2004 to 2017, he was first Senior Manager and then Partner (since 2012) at the consulting firm Business lntegration Partners S.p.A., working in the Rome, Milan and Santiago de Chile offices.

From 1999 to 2004, he worked for Deloitte Consulting S.r.l., moving from the role of Senior Consultant for the Italian office, to that of Manager and then to Senior Manager in the company's office in the Netherlands.

Previously, from 1991 to 1997, he held positions as Consultant, Project Leader and Senior Consulting at Bull HN Sud S.p.A, Gruppo Formula S.p.A. and Andersen Consulting, respectively.

He was Chairman of the Board of Directors at Avvenia, Terna Energy Solution and Tamini from 2020 to 2024.

From 2021 to 2024, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors at LT Renewables and Director of Ain Brugg Kable, Brugg Manufacturing and Brugg Service.
