Awarded to TgR RAI is the FS Prize for territorial communications presented during the 43rd edition of the Premio Ischia Internazionale di Giornalismo (Ischia International Prize for Journalism) scheduled for 1 and 2 July.
The RAI regional news outlet award was presented on the evening of Friday, 1 July to Antonello Perillo, Deputy Director of TgR RAI, during the special awards ceremony held in the garden of the Hotel della Regina Isabella in Lacco Ameno (Ischia).
THE REASONING - The panel of the FS Prize for Territorial Communications unanimously decided to award TgR RAI for its commitment to giving a voice to the FS Group and reporting day after day on territorial issues related to infrastructure, the mobility of people and goods, and urban regeneration. These themes, throughout this period of the health emergency, have supported the effort to readjust activities and channel energies into maintaining the productive and social system of the entire territory. The masthead, which has always been attentive to the diversity of local situations, has managed to capture moments of transformation and expansion of companies within Italy. These include the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, whose evolution over time and developments in extensiveness throughout the territory necessarily affect daily life, the environment, sustainability and above all, our future.
Standing alongside the Premio Ischia Internazionale di Giornalismo confirms FS’ commitment to the world of culture and information and reaffirms its conviction that transparent, impartial and community-oriented information is an indispensable value of democracy, civilisation and freedom.
