For the 2022–2023 two-year period, Luigi Ferraris – CEO of the FS Italiane Group – has been appointed as a member of the CER (Community of European Railways and Infrastructure Companies) Management Committee, as the European community uniting companies and railway operators.
CER represents the interests of some 70 members before the various European institutions, with the aim of improving the development conditions and regulatory framework of the railway business.
Based in Brussels, its activities are carried out in constant dialogue with the European Parliament, Commission and Council of Ministers.
