Focus falls to the development and implementation of technical and innovative solutions in rail infrastructure and transport, commercial development of stations and training, along with increasing traffic flows between Hungary and Italy for transporting passenger and goods.
Such are the highlights of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between our FS Group and the Hungarian State Railways MÁV Co. The MoU was signed on behalf of FS Italiane by Giovanni Rocca, Senior Vice-President of International Business Development - FS International, whilst Robért Homolya, MÁV's CEO and Chairman of the Board, signed for the Hungarian State Railways.
The collaboration between FS Italiane and MÁV was promoted by the Italian Embassy in Budapest, which organised a meeting at the FS stand of the international Innotrans event, along with a preliminary meeting in Budapest.
Amongst the upcoming appointments is a visit to Italy and the commencement of railway staff training courses.
