Italcertifer, the Gruppo FS Italiane's Verification and Certification Company also participated in this year's Middle East Rail, the leading trade fair in the Middle East, dedicated to the railway sector which takes place in the city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, in March, on Tuesday the 8th and on Wednesday the 9th.
Contemporarily, the Middle East Rail is a conference hosting prestigious guests from various sectors of the railway industry, and an exhibition where more than 300 companies introduce themselves to major railway operators in the region.
Italcertifer's CEO, Carlo Carganico, will speak during this event, which will introduce a special panel dedicated to "Strengths in Safety".
The Ambassador of Italy to the United Arab Emirates, Liborio Stellino, will also make an appearance.
By now, for several years, Italcertifer has been operating on the Arabian Peninsula with important roles: from the Safety Verification Engineering of the Mecca-Medina high-speed line, in Saudi Arabia, to the activity of Independent Checking Engineer for Line 3 of the metro Riyadh and system certification control and command and signalling for the Shah-Habshan-Ruwais line in the United Arab Emirates.
In 2015, Italcertifer was also placed in charge of the support activities by the Ministry of Transport of Oman for the establishment of the local Authority for the management and regulation of the railway sector.
