Trenitalia Freccia trains become testimonials for Expo 2015 and RFI Rho Fiera station’s name changes to Rho Fiera Expo Milano 2015

Gruppo FS Italiane, which has directed works for Expo 1015 through subsidiary Italferr over the last few months, is taking another important step forward in supporting and promoting the Universal Exhibition in Milan.

Presentation of the Frecciarossa train entirely covered with the Expo colours and Logo and the unveiling ceremony for the new Rho-Fiera Milan Station name was attended by Gruppo FS Italiane CEO Michele Mario Elia and Expo 2015 CEO and Sole Commissioner Giuseppe Sala.
They were joined by RFI MD Maurizio Gentile, Trenitalia MD Vincenzo Soprano and Trenord MD Cinzia Farisè.

Milan Municipality and Lombardy Regional Authority were represented by Francesco Maran, Municipality Councillor for Mobility, the Environment, Metropolitans, Public Water and Energy and Alessandro Sorte, Regional Councillor for Infrastructures and Mobility.


Freccia Trains for Expo 2015

One Frecciarossa, one Frecciargento and one Frecciabianca train will promote the image of Expo Milano 2015 along the domestic rail network through their exterior livery.
There will be 15 Freccia trains with customised interiors and all Frecciarossa and Frecciargento trains will bear the Exhibition logo externally.
Trenitalia has put into operation an extensive range of domestic and international schedules and offers for all target visitors.
