Since the beginning of the World Expo, the number of passengers who chose Trenitalia services to arrive in Milan reached 10 million , and 5 million of these passengers used the Frecciarossa high speed train.
During the recent period of the Expo, and in order to allow everyone to visit this international event, theFS Italiane Group, Official global rail carrier event, offers a 30% discount for the train to Milan or Rho Fiera Expo Milano 2015 by promoting a Special Expo round trip/return ticket.
Using Trenitalia channels you can pay the entrance fee to the World Expo together with your railways ticket.
For all schools travelling on the Frecce (Arrow trains) to Milan or Rho Fiera Milano Expo 2015 it was also enabled the promotion on the purchase of the box Easyfood Snack will be sold for €3.00 instead of €5.50, until 31 October. In order to take part, you must book the box lunch before departure via the Itinere website.
Each day, there are 236 trains arriving in Milan from all over Italy, 148 of which are Frecce (Arrow trains) with a total offer of 130,000 seats, while there are 69 trains that make stops at Rho Fiera Milano Expo 2015.
TheFS Italiane Group is present in Pavilion no. 112 (FS Italiane) at the Expo – Expo Partner 1 (viale/avenue no. 25). On the ground floor there is a lounge area where you can buy tickets for both Trenitalia and Trenord .
There is also a kiosk that offers free copies of La Freccia, the magazine editions dedicated to this high speed rail service.
On the first floor of the Pavilion there is also the interactive exhibition “MOVEAT EXPO - The Routes of Food: from Ancient Rome to Modern Europe” promoted by the Italian State Railways Group dealing with nutrition and the eating habits of people who lived two thousand years ago. The exhibit is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
