The first edition of 360 Integrity & Transparency, the initiative promoted by compliancedesign.it and AITRA (Italian Association for Transparency and Anti-corruption) was held in Rome on 8 February to highlight the projects most attentive to the values of anti-corruption, transparency, ethics and integrity.
A technical committee composed of academics and a representative of Transparency International assessed the projects of the national companies and industry groups that participated in the initiative and decided on the winner for each of the five competition categories.
The event was opened by the greeting of Anac President Giuseppe Busia.
Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane ranked first in the Top Level Commitment category for the project Call to action: Internal Auditor 37001: the bottom-up push to top-level commitment, initiated as part of the UNI ISO 37001:2016/Corruption Prevention Management Systems certification process.
The award was collected by Chief Security & Risk Officer Roberto Massi and the Anti-Corruption structure of FS.
The Chief extended the recognition to FS Group's top management for their commitment and to the 520 Group resources that enthusiastically joined the project. He said he was proud of the response to the appeal launched, which testifies to the Group's adherence to its values and the centrality of the 'culture' factor for an effective corruption prevention system.
'Auditor 37001' candidates who have confirmed their participation in the project will be involved in the initiatives planned in the coming months, starting with training on the UNI ISO 37001:2016 standard and specific audit techniques.
