Le Village by CA Milan for sustainability

The innovation hub of Crédit Agricole in Italy launches a Call 4 Startup

Rome, 18 June 2019

Le Village by CA Milano, Crédit Agricole's first innovation hub in Italy to support young companies with high innovative potential, has launched a Call 4 Startup dedicated to sustainability.

Created in collaboration with the Crédit Agricole Italia Group and some partners of Le Village, including FS Italiane, the Call addresses the issue of sustainability according to four different points of view.

The Crédit Agricole Group in Italy supports the Call with a focus on water: initiatives to save this resource, its recycling and its key role for human well-being and health.

FS Italiane participates with "Sustainable mobility": innovative solutions in order to encourage people to choose railway as means of transportation for their work, study, leisure and tourism trips and to transfer freight traffic from the road to the railway.

Bormioli Pharma, KPMG and Parmalat have identified the topic of "Alternative packaging": use of innovative and sustainable materials, reduction, elimination, reuse and/or recycling of plastics and end-of-life packaging management.

Lastly, “Sustainable and Smart Cities” is the topic addressed by Enel: smart home, electric mobility, smart lighting (domestic and urban), electric mobility, energy consumption, and energy efficiency.
