New Jazz trains delivered to the Campania Region

Provision of all 24 planned shall be completed by 2019

The renewal of the Trenitalia fleet for commuters in the Campania region continues. The 16th and 17th Jazz trains out of the 24 envisaged under the plan were delivered to the Region today. Delivery is set to be completed by the end of 2019.

This morning’s ribbon cutting at the Caserta station was attended by the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, and the Director of the Regional Passenger Division of Trenitalia, Maria Giaconia. Also present were Luca Cascone, Chair of the IV Transport and Mobility Commission of the Campania Region, Franco De Michele, Deputy Mayor of Caserta, and Pietro Diamantini, Director of Trenitalia Regional Campania.

Equipped with an exceptional level of comfort, safety, reliability and accessibility to enable a new travel experience, the Jazz trains are intended to run mainly within the metropolitan areas of Naples and the lines connecting Salerno and Caserta.
