Opening celebration of the 2015/2016 edition of the Master in "Engineering of Infrastructure and Railway Systems", organized by our Gruppo in collaboration with La Sapienza - University of Rome and other important partner companies as Hitachi Rail Italy, Ansaldo STS, Bombardier Trasport Italy, Roma Metropolitane, Almaviva and Ferrotramviaria.
At the opening ceremony, held yesterday at the Sala del Chiostro of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the La Sapienza University, took part the CEO of FS Italiane, Renato Mazzoncini, the Top Management of our Company and delegates of other partner companies.
The Master, to its 12th edition, can be considered, once again, as the largest training investment of our Company on young engineers, selected among more than 300 applications, in order to allow them to acquire that multidisciplinary skills needed to understand the opportunities offered by a highly innovative sector such as railway is.
The didactic schedule, for this year, will provide 12 modules that will give the opportunity to young engineers to deal with lectures, work groups, a large number of visits to facilities and sites of the company, listen to the experiences of teachers from the corporate world and increase the knowledge on the Gruppo FS Italiane through the opportunity of an internship, as conclusion of the training programme, supported by our company tutors.
The initiative is part of the partnerships of our company with the world of school and academic institutions, in order to always find a contact point between training offer and needs of the business world, to make scouting of young excellent resources.
