From 8 to 24 May, hundreds of events throughout Italy and the world to spread a culture of sustainability.
“Sustainability keeps the future alive” is the key message of the seventh edition of the Sustainable Development Festival, Italy’s largest initiative to raise awareness regarding sustainability issues.
Promoted by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS), the Festival will be held from 8 to 24 May throughout Italy and the world, also thanks to a collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). The novelty of this edition lies in being an itinerant event that will open on 8 May in Naples and close on 24 May in Rome, after also stopping in Bologna, Milan and Turin.
Numerous events have been organised – with workshops, seminars, exhibitions, shows and sporting events – with the common objective of mobilising citizens, new generations and institutions when it comes to issues of economic, social and environmental sustainability, promoting real cultural and political change.
Once again this year, with we at the FS Group are sponsoring the initiative, offering food for thought for achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations in the Agenda 2030. This collaboration is in line with the FS Group’s marked focus on environmental and social sustainability.
It is only through conscious individual and collective choices and behaviour that the prospect of a more sustainable future is kept alive.
Let’s light up the future.
