Cesano-Bracciano track-doubling

Cesano-Bracciano track-doubling

This project foresees a doubling of the Rome-Viterbo line in the section between the Cesano and Bracciano stations. The new track-doubling, with a total length of around 16 kilometres, runs partly alongside the existing track and partly as a track variant. The elimination of all level crossings currently present on the section concerned is also envisaged.

The project's design phase has received public funding.

Vincenzo Macello was appointed Extraordinary Governmental Commissioner for completion of the works.
