Today TX Logistik Italia (Mercitalia Group - Italian FS Group) was awarded the Merit Award for adopting an Integrated Management System (SGI) for Work Safety, for the Environment, and for Quality by SGS.
TX Logistik Italia has received certification for its Integrated Management System (SGI) for Quality, for the protection of the Environment, for Health and Safety at Work from the Certification Body SGS (recognized by Accredia and world leader in inspection, verification, analysis and certification of goods, services and systems) in relation to the activities of "designing and supplying the rail freight service, including dangerous goods and waste".
The Merit Award, awarded today, is the Certificate of Excellence for companies that have distinguished themselves for having integrated the three systems into one single operational management process, in accordance with ISO 9001 for Quality, ISO 140001 for environmental management, and OHSAS 18001 for health and safety at work.
The triple certification is attestation to how TX Logistik Italia is at the forefront of the European freight railway panorama and is implementing an important process of continuous improvement, in the following areas in particular:
