Rome, 16 July 2024 - Fondazione FS Italiane, keeper of Italy's great railway heritage, announces the launch of a new mobile app for iOS and Android, developed in collaboration with travel podcast platform Loquis.
The application is designed to promote and enhance the cultural wealth of the Italian railways, through a journey through history, guided by sound pills focusing on cue events of the railway epic, with an engaging language and an innovative approach.
Among its main features, the app offers geolocalised podcasts and high-quality multimedia content, such as videos, photographs and virtual tours, which allow users to explore the railway's history, virtually visit museums and discover historical fun facts.
With this new app, Fondazione FS aims to involve new generations in particular, by providing them with an innovative tool to explore and learn about the 12 railway lines part of the Binario Senza Tempo project, the railway museums and the historical halls.
The app can be downloaded free of charge from the main digital stores.
