The Board of Directors of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, held today under the chairwomanship of Nicoletta Giadrossi, appointed Luigi Ferraris as Chief Executive Officer for 2021-2023.
The new Board of Directors, held for the first time after the appointment by the Shareholders’ Meeting on 26 May 2021, also includes Pietro Bracco, Stefano Cuzzilla, Alessandra Bucci and Riccardo Barbieri Hermitte.
Silvia Candiani has declined the office of member of the Board of Directors, having better assessed the type and level of commitment that will be required within the new Board of Directors for the three years with respect to her current managerial activity.
The Company acknowledged the communication of Silvia Candiani, appreciating her consideration in the interest of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane. The Board of Directors has mandated the President to call the shareholders’ meeting to proceed with the appointment of a new board member.
