Frecciarosa 2015: prevention travelling at High Speed

Milano 2015

Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane confirmed in 2015 its commitment to promote the campaign of awareness and prevention of women's diseases conducted in concert with the non-profit organization Association IncontraDonna, with the support and partnership of the Ministry of Health and Expo Milano 2015.

A campaign that has broadened its horizons the planet’s female population placing the spotlight, for an entire month, regarding women, their health and that of the family.

Topics to be discussed will also include issues concerning  the proper lifestyle, the prevention of breast cancer and colon cancer, the promotion of HPV vaccination against the papilloma virus and a healthy diet aimed at cancer prevention.

The Frecciarosa  2015 program offers medical advice on board trains and the distribution of  vademecum (handbooks) filled with tips and useful information, not only for women but for the entire family.

This manual deals with prevention even in men, good eating habits, lifestyles, with special attention to children and the issue of genetic risks.

The goal of the 2015 edition of Frecciarosa is to consolidate the merits of success and attention of previous years, when it reached over 2 million Trenitalia passengers, engaging in some 1,500 consultations, free tours and the distribution of over 250 thousand health care handbooks.

To enrich the calendar for this year, a new initiative: a blogger sponsored by donnamoderna.com involving the passengers by inviting them to support the cause of prevention by offering themselves for a photo to accompany the hashtag #scelgolaprevenzione.
