Fabrizio Favara, 41, from Rome, is married and has two children.
Fabrizio Favara was awarded his degree in Economics and Commerce in 1999 from the LUISS “Guido Carli” University in Rome. The same year, he began his professional career with Accenture, dedicated to implementing the control model also in the role of Senior Analyst.
He then moved to Blu Spa at the end of 2000 as Head of Network Planning and Control. In 2002, he was hired by Ferrovie del State SpA in Strategies Management, focused on transport stratagems.
He was appointed as Manager in 2008, taking on responsibility for the Planning and Studies office then Strategic Planning and Monitoring, always within the scope of the holding company’s Strategies Management.
As of 2016, Favara was Director of Central Strategies, Planning, Innovation and Sustainability for Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, directly answering to the Chief Executive Officer.
He has held - and continues to hold - several positions as Administrator in various companies of the Group. Currently, Favara is Chairman of the “Mercitalia Intermodal”, “Mercitalia Shunting & Terminal” and “Mercitalia Rail” companies, as well as being an independent adviser for the company FNM.
