Born on 11 November 1960.
Graduated in Philosophy.
He started his career in Bergamo in 1989 in Italcementi S.p.A. within the Human Resources Department as a human resources development specialist.
In 1992, he entered the Chemical sector with Himont S.p.A. in Milan, where in 1995 he was involved in the merger with Shell Chemicals that led to the founding of Montell S.p.A. and became Human Resources Manager of the petrochemical plant in Ferrara.
In 1996, back in Milan, he moved to the aviation sector as Head of Human Resources South East Europe of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and took over the joint venture KLM-Alitalia.
In 1999 in Rome, he was appointed Human Resources Manager of Inarcassa, a social security agency for engineers and architects.
In 2002 he began his career in the Group participating from the very beginning in the major innovations in the processes and culture of management and development of human resources, first as Head of Personnel Management and Development of Trenitalia S.p.A., and from 2009 as Head of Management of Group Executives at Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A.
In 2011 he returned to Trenitalia as Personnel Manager of the Long Haul Passenger Division, participating in the winning project of the launch of the High Speed.
In 2018 he took over the Human Resources and Organisation Department of Trenitalia managing the significant generational turnover stimulated by the review of the social security system, and in 2020, during the Covid-19 health emergency, he took over the leadership of the Human Resources and Organisation Central Department of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane.
